I know I'm beautiful, but sometimes I let things get to me. We all do.
This post inspires me. I like what you have written. I shall look at myself without judgement.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

LOVE!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5074000254394034861.post-35599354789071101612010-12-24T12:20:18.947-05:002010-12-24T12:20:18.947-05:00this is so beautiful! and i hope lots and lots of ...this is so beautiful! and i hope lots and lots of people find this post to read it. sometimes i look in the mirror and i think, "Wow! i'm Gorgeous!!" and other times i look in the mirror and think, "Ugh! how can anyone stand to look at me? i should probably avoid talking to anyone so i don't subject them to my face." i think the reality is some people might think i'm pretty and many other people don't think anything about it either way. and that's probably how most people view most other people. i don't think about a person's looks when i meet them or talk to them. i think about inner characteristics that i'm noticing like friendliness, confidence, and an overall disposition. then there are those people who i think are incredibly beautiful, but it is obvious they have absolutely no idea - that they look in the mirror and feel sorry for the people who look at them.

i love your suggestion to meditate on our image reflecting back to us with neutral thoughts. it's exactly what we need to do! in this way, we can learn to look at ourselves with zero judgment. ZERO. that's probably going to be hard for a lot of us, but definitely possible, and definitely necessary for living a much better, happier life.

thanks for writing this! and i hope you have a very merry christmas!kimbirdyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02933291126592725297noreply@blogger.com
